Teamtailor Review 2026: Employer Branding ATS for UK and European Companies

By Max Yao · Last tested: 2026-05-16 · 2026.1
How We Tested

We tested this tool on a 14-day trial with real job requisitions. CSV import, export, LinkedIn integration, and scheduling were all tested hands-on. Pricing was verified against vendor pages and third-party procurement data (Pin, Vendr, Leonstaff, 2026).

TL;DR

Teamtailor wins its evaluations on the careers site quality. The drag-and-drop careers page builder produces a genuinely good-looking employer brand page — employee testimonials, office photos, team culture sections, and a clean job listing layout — without developer involvement. For a 50–150 employee company in a competitive talent market (tech, finance, creative), a polished careers site visibly improves application rates.

The ATS underneath is functional. Pipeline management, interview scheduling, and basic reporting cover the needs of most SMB recruiting teams. The limitation is analytics depth: Ashby and Greenhouse go significantly further on funnel metrics.

Price floor: £149/mo billed annually. Realistic Y1 for 80 EE: ~£2,800–£4,200.

What Teamtailor actually covers

Employer branding and careers site:

  • Drag-and-drop careers site builder (no developer required)
  • Employee testimonial and culture section templates
  • Custom domain, custom colours and fonts
  • GDPR-compliant application forms (important for UK/EU companies)
  • Candidate experience surveys

ATS core features:

  • Job posting and multi-board syndication (LinkedIn, Indeed, and EU job boards)
  • Visual Kanban pipeline management
  • Interview scheduling (calendar integration)
  • Basic scorecard/rating system
  • Offer management
  • Referral programme management
  • Basic reporting (time-to-hire, applications per source, pipeline velocity)

What Teamtailor doesn’t have:

  • Structured interview scorecards at Greenhouse depth
  • Advanced analytics (funnel conversion by competency, DEI pipeline analysis)
  • OFCCP compliance tooling (US federal contractors: this is not your tool)
  • Enterprise HRIS integration library at Greenhouse/Workable depth

Pros

1. Best-in-class careers site builder. Teamtailor’s careers site builder is the strongest in the SMB ATS category. Competitors’ career pages look like job board clones. Teamtailor lets you build a page with employee video testimonials, office culture sections, team profiles, and a visual job listing that loads fast and looks professional. In our test build, we produced a polished careers page in 4 hours without any developer involvement.

2. GDPR-compliant by design. Teamtailor is built for European compliance. Candidate consent, data retention rules, right-to-erasure workflows, and privacy policy integration are all configurable in the platform. For UK and EU companies managing GDPR compliance in recruiting, this is meaningfully less work than configuring a US-built ATS for European compliance.

3. LinkedIn integration is strong. Job posting to LinkedIn is native. LinkedIn Easy Apply applications flow directly into the Teamtailor pipeline. LinkedIn profile data syncs to candidate records.

4. Referral programme is native. Teamtailor includes an employee referral management module — employees can submit referrals, track their status, and see referral bonuses from inside the platform. This is an add-on or integration in most other tools.

5. Pricing is transparent. Teamtailor publishes pricing. For UK/EU companies without a dedicated procurement team, the absence of a quote-required pricing wall is a practical time-saver.

6. Candidate experience tools. Teamtailor includes candidate experience surveys (NPS-style feedback from rejected and hired candidates), which most ATS tools don’t offer. Useful for understanding where your process creates friction.

Cons

1. Analytics are basic. Teamtailor’s reporting covers the essentials (time-to-hire, source attribution, pipeline volume) but doesn’t go deeper. No funnel conversion analysis, no interviewer quality scoring, no DEI funnel analysis. If recruiting analytics are a priority, look at Ashby.

2. Structured interviewing is thin. Teamtailor has a rating system and basic scorecard fields, but it doesn’t have Greenhouse’s competency-level scorecard depth. For companies that are serious about structured interviewing as a quality lever, Greenhouse is the right tool.

3. Enterprise integrations are limited. Teamtailor integrates with major HRIS tools (Workday, BambooHR, Personio) and LinkedIn, but the integration library is smaller than Workable or Greenhouse. Custom integrations require API work.

4. US market presence is thin. Teamtailor is primarily used in UK and EU markets. US-specific features (OFCCP, EEOC self-ID workflows, US job board integrations beyond LinkedIn/Indeed) are limited. US companies are better served by Greenhouse, Workable, or JazzHR.

Pricing

PlanMonthly (annual billing)Key features
Starter£149/moUp to 10 users, core ATS, careers site
Growth£249/moUnlimited users, analytics, referral programme
ScaleCustomAdvanced features, dedicated support

50-employee company on Growth: £249 × 12 = £2,988/yr

Renewal pattern: Teamtailor’s pricing is more stable than BambooHR-style renewal shock. Annual increases of 5–10% are typical.

Best for

UK/EU company where employer brand is a hiring priority: Strong recommend. The careers site builder is the differentiating feature and it’s genuinely good.

Company with active employee referral programme: Good fit. Native referral management is stronger than most competitors.

US-only company: Not recommended. Limited US compliance tooling and US job board integrations.

Company needing deep analytics: Consider Ashby instead.

Company needing OFCCP compliance: Use Greenhouse.
